Voting for MINEX Russian Mining Excellence Award is completed
NOMINEE AND WINNER SELECTION PROCESS
Independent MINEX Award Committee receives and assesses nominee applications. Adjudication will be done on the basis of the nomination supporting information and personal interviews conducted with proposed nominees. The list of five finalists per category is prepared by the Award Committee.
- On 15 September a nomination finalists list is published on Minex Forum website with an invitation to Minex participants to vote
- Award Committee evaluates results of the votes and selects the winners
- Winners will be announced at the award ceremony on 1 October in Moscow
- The list of winners will be published on Minex 2009 website and press statement issued

THE AWARD CEREMONY AND GALA DINNER ON 1 OCTOBER
The awards ceremony and gala dinner took place on the 1st of October, 2009 at the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow (Europe Square 2, Moscow, Russia).
It is set to be a networking highlight of the Russian Mining industry calendar. It is the only award for the mining industry in Russia to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements by Russian and International companies and professionals with peers, colleagues and clients. The Award Dinner and Winner List are widely covered by the Media. At the Award Ceremony, held at the end of the Dinner the winners will receive their well deserved recognition and prizes:
- A personalised framed and plated plaque
- A valuable bespoke handmade bronze 20 cm sculpture set on the stone plinth

MINEX Annual Russian Mining Excellence Award was established by the MINEX (Russian & CIS Mining & Exploration Forum) in 2007 with the aim of promoting best practices in the Russian Mining Industry. The award has become an instant success by offering an unbiased and independent platform for highlighting success stories and awarding Russian and International companies and managers for their outstanding achievements in improving mining industry standards and practices in Russia.
Independent character of the Award is guaranteed by open voting from MINEX participants and Mining Community. By the award rules nominees and winners cannot financially participate in the Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony.
